Meet the Presenters
Rev. Traci L Simmons is a Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist Associate currently working and living in Louisville, KY. She has established her expertise in supporting sexual assault and domestic violence survivors, folks in the LGTBQIA+ communities , African American women and those dealing with religious and racial trauma. Currently she is focusing her work on supporting the community through therapy, self-awareness, and prevention education.
Amy E. Turner, MEd, LPCC, is a licensed professional clinical counselor with over a decade of experience working at the intersections of trauma, power-based violence, and healing justice. Amy has led statewide initiatives centering BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and substance-using communities. She is a seasoned trainer and presenter, having developed and delivered trauma-informed, equity-focused programming across national platforms. Amy brings deep passion and creativity to her work, grounded in community care and systemic advocacy.
