Sara Church, MS, LMHC, CMIP, will help participants identify LGBTQIA+ survivor needs, apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices, recognize barriers to reporting and care, use inclusive language, address safety and confidentiality concerns, and adapt services for intersecting identities. Special attention will be given to the stigma, discrimination, outing risks, and medical mistrust that Queer Community survivors endure.

Sara Church, MS, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Practitioner and the owner of Catalyst Counseling and Consulting group in Indianapolis. With over 15 years of experience in behavioral health with individuals, couples, and families needing support through complex life problems, she recognizes how difficulties in emotional health can impact all life areas.
